I am pleased to announce my participation in the group exhibition Powerful Textures. Language in Textile, presented within the Museumsufer Frankfurt program.
The exhibition looks at the historical role of textiles as a medium for expressing values and identity in space.
The historical collection of the Klingspor Museum’s based of modern tapestries, which was initiated by Rudolf Koch and his students in Offenbach in the 1920s and has since been expanded through acquisitions, commissions, and donations. Presented alongside contemporary works on the exhibition, this historical context opens a dialogue with contemporary artistic practices, where personal narratives intersect with political and social contexts.
The exhibition will feature graphics and textile works from my project “Notes in the Margins”, which I began at the Residency Villa Ruffieux with the support of the Château Mercier Foundation in 2024.
