The Sharjah Art Foundation Residency is a program that provides artists, writers, performers, and researchers with a temporary period to develop their practice. These residencies are designed to support experimental and interdisciplinary work.
My residency will take place at the Kalba Ice Factory, one of Sharjah Art Foundation’s major sites, from 17 November 2025 to 15 January 2026.
The 20,000 square-metre building was constructed by renovating a derelict feed mill and ice factory. It has been transformed into a contemporary art venue surrounded by mangroves and the Gulf of Oman.
